Do our Social Care Workers fully understand their role when dealing with medication for their individuals? Are they aware of the risks of making mistakes?

Medication Handling training is of the highest importance when asking social care workers to support individuals with their medication. Unfortunately, some workers don’t have the skills, knowledge or confidence to handle medication – this creates more medication errors, incorrect records and potential safeguarding issues.

Course Duration:

This course can be delivered over 3 hours or 6 hours (contact time).

3 hours – will provide employees with the fundamental information relating to medication handling in your workplace.  Learners can also complete a workbook that has been mapped to the care qualifications
